Merci Sugai (she/her) is the Assistant Director for Leadership Development and New Student Programs. Merci oversees leadership development and onboarding for all Wildcat Welcome Student Leaders, including the Student Board of Directors and Peer Advisers and assists with programming for first year students.
Merci is originally from Bloomington, Illinois. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Studies from Colorado State University and Master of Science in Higher Postsecondary Education from Syracuse University.
Merci is most excited to collaborate with driven student leaders to create the best transition experience possible for incoming Wildcats.
