Undergraduate, university-sponsored travel to the following countries require special Travel Permission before any travel plans can be made. Contact the Office of Global Safety and Security for more information.

**Travel prohibited without exception until further notice per loss of evacuation coverage for these destinations.
^ Cuba was elevated to a Level 3 advisory on 11/5/2024 in response to the potential impacts of Tropical Storm Rafael, which later grew to hurricane strength. It is possible the advisory will return to a Level 2 upon passage of the storm and successful recovery efforts.
***Travel is prohibited without exception to the following Mexican states: Colima, Guerrero, Michoacan, Sinaloa, Tamaulipas and Zacatecas. Travel Permission must be sought for travel to Baja, Chihuahua, Durango, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Morelos, and Sonora. Travel to all other states may proceed normally.
