Eric Watson
Assistant Provost for Administration and Finance
Eric Watson joined the Office of the Provost in May 2024. As Assistant Provost for Administration and Finance, Eric coordinates finance, budget planning and human resources for the Office of the Provost and 30 reporting units. His role includes directing staff and merit-planning performance, and recruiting; overseeing budgeting and forecasting; coordinating business continuity for the reporting units; and addressing issues of compliance with University requirements and policies.
Prior to joining the Office of the Provost, Eric started as a Budget Analyst in baby直播app’s Office of Budget and Planning in 2019 and was promoted to a Senior Budget Analyst in 2021 with responsibilities for helping to develop the University’s annual operating budget and managing the budget development, resource allocations, operations and analysis for a portfolio of academic and administrative units. Prior to joining baby直播app, Eric was a Financial Analyst for Enercon Engineering with comprehensive budget, monthly reconciliations and analytic responsibilities.
Eric earned his accounting degree from Illinois State University and is completing his MBA in Finance at Kellogg.
